Catlin Darner

Interior Designer

Catlin’s design experience and interest is in both residential and commercial spaces. She developed an early passion for Interior Design when her Mother, a local designer in Jacksonville NC, took Catlin along to design showrooms and client’s homes. This led her to a decision to major in Interior Design at Meredith College with a minor in Art.

After college she worked with local custom home builders, assisting their buyers with interior and exterior selections, giving her valuable experience in custom construction and finish selections. In 2010 Catlin began working with Green Design and obtained her LEED certification. Catlin worked with Baker Roofing from 2010 - 2015 and managed the design of their facilities expansion.

Since joining the design team at Design Works Studio in 2015, Catlin has worked on a wide variety of projects including new construction, remodels, custom furnishings, window treatment design and commercial restaurant design.

Her organizational and communication skills, her great sense of style and eye for design, along with a balance of function and aesthetics on projects has earned her the respect and confidence of her clients and co-workers.

Catlin enjoys spending time at the beach, watching movies, and any fun, local event with her husband, Jeff, and their daughter, Blair.
