Jill Perry

Interior Designer

Jill joined the Design Works team in May 2016 after working for a number of years as an independent design consultant. She has a BA in Interior Design from the University of Kentucky and studied art and art history in Italy, which has greatly influenced and inspired her use of color and artistic form in her interiors. A native of Louisville, KY, Jill and her family moved to the Raleigh area in 2008, after working as an interior designer in Kentucky and South Florida.

With over 20 years of experience in both residential and commercial interiors, her experience ranges from retail/furniture starting out of college at Ethan Allen, later designing beach house interiors in Florida and working for a Knoll dealer designing office interiors and commercial spaces.

Jill loves to create livable/workable spaces for her clients that are beautiful, interesting, and tailored to each client. She has the ability to adapt her skills to a wide variety of styles and budgets and is resourceful in finding the right pieces and finishes for each space. Her design motto is that homes should be ''authentic to those who live there, the best quality for the budget, and not too stuffy or serious for everyday living.'' Outside of work she enjoys reading, shopping for home treasures, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
